Cuff without button underlap

Interface the cuff and press in half lengthwise, allowing one long edge to overlap the other by approximately 1/16"(1-2mm). This overlap will guarantee that the facing edge of the cuff will be secured by the topstitching. Press under the seam allowance on the long facing edge. Pin the remaining raw edge right sides together with the sleeve edge. The side seam allowances should extend beyond the sleeve edge. Re-fold the cuff along fold-line, right sides together. Sew along both short ends, making sure cuff and facing seam allowances are caught in side seams. Clip corners. Turn cuff right side out and press, tucking all seam allowances into cuff. Pin the long edge of the cuff facing so that it overlaps the cuff seamline.Topstitch edge narrowly from the right side of the sleeve, making sure to catch facing in seam.
