Joining seam
Use a jersey or stretch needle when sewing stretch fabrics. Place the fabrics right sides together and joining using the stretch triple straight stitch or an overedge stitch. Certain seams of knit garments can become distorted when wearing. To avoid this distortion, you may wish to apply a stay tape or seam binding to the shoulder seams and any other seams that may become stretched out of shape when wearing. Stay tapes and seam bindings are available in both fusible and non fusible forms.
