Turned-under edge

Use this technique for sewing on collars, waistbands or buttonhole band. Cut the top leather layer with seam allowance, cut the bottom leather layer without seam allowance. Fold over the seam allowance of the top leather layer and tack it to the wrong side of the bottom leather layer, aligning the raw edges.
