Update your PFAFF® creative sensation™ sewing and embroidery machine!

We strongly recommend you to always update your creative sensation™ sewing and embroidery machine with the latest software version.

PFAFF® creative sensation™ update version 2322-6311 (2012-09-26)

Improvement in new update:

  • A hang up situation in embroidery that could occur after long time has been solved.

All additions and improvements from the previous version are of course also included in this update:

Sewing mode

  • IDT recommendation removed when machine is set for free motion.
  • Stitch 1.1.2 changed to 4.0 default stitch length as it is mostly used for decorative or top stitch purposes.

Embroidery mode

  • Support for new creative™ Petite Square Hoop (80x80).
  • The embroidery finished pop up has been simplified. Alternative to return to embroidery edit has been removed to avoid misunderstanding.
  • Precision of fabric thickness measurement in embroidery has been improved.
  • Continuous fabric thickness measurement with 6D foot corrected to eliminate extra warm-up in presser bar stepper motor.
  • Design cs_060.vp3 corrected. Was incomplete

How to update with USB cable

1. Click on the link below to download the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
2. Extract the .exe file to your desktop. Then double click on the .exe file from your desktop to start the Update Wizard. You may get Security Warnings. Click Run to continue.
3. The creative sensation™ Update Wizard will start. Follow the instructions on screen.
4. When the update is complete your creative sensation™ will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 8 minutes.

How to update with USB embroidery stick
(requires version 1885-6275 or later in the machine)

1. Click on the linked zip-file below to download the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
2. Extract the .exe file to your desktop. Then double click on the .exe file from your desktop to start the Update Wizard. You may get Security Warnings. Click Run to continue.
3. The machine Update Wizard will start. Follow the instructions on screen and be sure to select "USB embroidery stick" as the update method.
4. When the USB embroidery stick is prepared the Update Wizard will tell you to move it to your machine, start the update and follow the instructions on the Interactive Screen.
5. When the update is complete your machine will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 13 minutes.

How to update with USB embroidery stick

1. Click on the link below to download the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
2. Save the file in the root of the USB memory, not in any folder. Make sure no other update file (.clo file) is present in the root of the USB stick.
3. Insert the USB memory into your creative sensation™ .
4. Press and hold the Reverse key while switching on the machine. Hold the key until you can read "Firmware Update Mode" on the Interactive Screen.
5. Follow the instructions on the Interactive Screen.
6. When the update is complete your creative sensation™ will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 13 minutes.
